Every child deserves access to books at home. Books they can choose, treasure, and return to again and again. Yet for many families at Title 1 schools, this simple opportunity is out of reach. Some schools are unable to host book fairs at all, and for many students, buying books is not possible. Free Book Fair is changing that story by making sure every child has the chance to bring books home and begin building a library of their very own.

What began as a small community project has grown into a movement. In the past year, we brought free book fairs to Wilkinson and Tuttle Elementary Schools, ensuring that every student took home books to build their very own library. The excitement on their faces said it all: books are more than stories- they are confidence, imagination, and opportunity.

This school year, we are expanding our reach to six Title 1 schools across Sarasota, giving thousands of children the chance to discover the magic of reading. Each fair is powered by the generosity of donors and volunteers who believe that books should belong in every home.

Our mission is simple: to put books into the hands of children  and to inspire a lifelong love of reading.
